Scenario plan · Jeton Express
The same tool name, different regional kits
A regional distributor needs to understand why same-name power-tool offers show different boxes and accessories. The proposed review compares supplied brand references with listing claims, recording version differences for the channel team to investigate before purchasing.
These scenarios are plans for discussing a future purchase. They do not report completed customer orders.
Brand and regional version differences
The buying situation
In this scenario, offers use the same tool name while photographs show different charger plugs, accessories and packaging labels. The distributor needs a version comparison against its approved catalogue, with suspected differences separated from conclusions about authenticity, authorisation or regional support.
Proposed approach
- Establish the approved catalogue entry and regional kit contents, identifying the product version, included accessories and packaging references the distributor wants used for this comparison.
- Record each offer’s stated model, packaging, charger and accessory details beside the brand reference, retaining source links and marking any point that photographs cannot establish.
- Prepare a discrepancy list for the brand or channel team, then record its clarification before the buyer decides whether a particular offer merits further enquiry.
Decision pack for approval
A proposed regional-version comparison and a list of specific anomalies for the channel team. The buyer would need the relevant brand confirmation before approving an offer on those grounds.
Still to confirm
Brand-confirmed version, kit contents, electrical specifications and support terms. Authenticity and channel authorisation require their own confirmation.
